In the production of these jeans, the warp and weft yarns of the denim are crafted from Zimbabwean cotton, known for its high-quality long-staple fibers. Compared to the indigo-dyed warp yarns, the weft yarns are undyed and made from finer threads. This composition enhances the denim's rich, deep indigo hue. Additionally, the jeans come in a unwashed finish, meaning the jeans have not pre-washed (also known as one-wash) during the finishing process. However, they are pre-treated with a special sanforized proces (anti-shrinkage process) to minimize shrinkage to just within 2%, comparable to typical jeans. To maintain their quality, we recommend washing them in cold water and air drying by hanging. Avoid hot water or using a dryer, as these can cause unexpected shrinkage or fabric twisting.
