Rooted in the classic five-pocket design, these jeans are crafted from 15-ounce indigo denim woven with organic cotton, known as Sally Fox's Cotton. They feature a tapered fit that creates a modern silhouette. Seamlessly blending a distinctive and unique aesthetic with Studio D'artisan's exceptional craftsmanship, these jeans offer sophisticated tailoring, organic cotton denim dyed with high-quality natural indigo, modern durability, and a casually stylish look. These jeans are made from a non-stretch, 15-ounce, 100% cotton denim with a right-hand twill construction. In the weaving process, the denim's warp and weft yarns are crafted from organic cotton known as Sally Fox's Cotton, a variety revived in 1989 by American entomologist Sally Fox. This cotton retains its distinctive, naturally brownish hue. For dyeing, the warp yarn is carefully hand-dyed by skilled artisans using the traditional Japanese method of natural indigo skein dyeing. Meanwhile, the weft yarn remains undyed, preserving the cotton's original earthy tone. When woven on a power loom, these elements come together to create a denim fabric with a uniquely textured surface, a rich bluish hue inherent to natural indigo, and warm, earthy undertones characteristic of organic cotton. As part of the finishing process, the jeans are pre-washed (also known as one-wash) to minimize shrinkage and enhance comfort. Additionally, these jeans feature natural and navy-colored selvage details along the interior outseam, natural corozo nut buttons on the fly front, stitch-reinforced construction without the use of rivets, front pocket bags made from cotton grown through organic farming methods, five belt loops, a leather patch positioned on the right side of the back waistband, and decorative stitching on both back pockets. These tapered jeans offer a sleek, slightly slimmer fit compared to a traditional regular fit. They feature a button fly, a slightly higher rise, a narrower leg, and a cut that gently tapers toward the hem, complemented by a classic five-pocket design. ・The thread used in this denim is crafted from FOX COTTON, a naturally colored brown cotton revived in 1989 by American entomologist Sally Fox.

・Sally Fox raised concerns about the heavy use of defoliants and pesticides in cotton farming and highlighted that over 90% of cotton worldwide is genetically modified. She developed FOX COTTON, grown without any pesticides, through completely organic farming methods. This cotton retains its original plant color before being altered for human preference.

・The thread, made from FOX COTTON, is specially produced for both the warp and weft yarns during the spinning process.

・For dyeing, the warp yarn is carefully hand-dyed by skilled artisans using the traditional Japanese method of natural indigo skein dyeing. Meanwhile, the weft yarn remains undyed, preserving the cotton's original earthy tone.

・The denim is woven under low tension, resulting in an earthy color tone, combining the bluish hue of the indigo-dyed warp yarns and the natural brownish tone of the weft yarns.

・Artificial rivets are not used. Instead, the reinforcement is achieved through stitching.

・The fly front buttons are made from natural corozo nuts.

・The sewing thread is made from undyed cotton.

・The front pocket bag fabric is made from organically farmed cotton.
